Is The Cloud A Threat or Opportunity?
Your customers are being bombarded by consumer cloud service offerings including data protection solutions like Mozy and Carbonite and content management/collaboration offerings like Drop Box and Box.net. The vendors that offer these solutions are selling directly to SMB customers. This poses a real and substantial threat to the relationship you have with your customers because they may be lured into thinking they can easily deploy these solutions themselves.
